This summer, Gartner released an advisory post to their Risk and Security clients with the headline, “Hire the Right Teachers for Better Security Awareness”.

They noted both the importance of getting security awareness messaging right but also recognized that few employees felt this was being achieved. Instead of drawing them into the topic, it had an off-putting effect.
